Jess and Cristina met at a local Democrats meeting in 2025.
As two of the youngest women in the room, they connected over working full time while raising small kids in a world that looked less and less like the one they were promised.
Being an election year, Jess stepped up to run city-wide for Mayor and she convinced Cristina to run for Alderman. After spending the summer campaigning together, their friendship was official. Although they both ultimately lost their races, they still feel strongly about finding ways to channel their rage for good. After a bit of brainstorming, they determined they can’t do everything but wanted to do something, and Spill the Goods was born.
